Saturday 5th June 2010 Briefing 10.30 First Race 11am Notts County is large expanse of water, long and narrow. There are grassy banks all around the lake which makes an ideal rigging area. Notts County Sailing Club is one of the most modern and well equipped clubs on the circuit. You can be assured a warm welcome from this friendly family club. Formula racing can be difficult, but is possible in ideal conditions.
Fleets & classes to sailed in the Midland series Raceboard; All current National fleets plus a 'B' fleet Formula Windsurf; All current National Junior; All National & team 15 fleets Scoring on the day will be extracted from in line positions. Series scores will be based on extracted positions. No weight groups, no age divisions other than team 15, no gender divisions will apply. All class rules shall be as per UKWA see www.ukwindsurfing.com unless specified.

Briefing 10.30 First Race 11am The Whitwell sailing centre at Rutland Water is the home of the Rutland Marathon which is run twice a year in June and November. Rutland water is one of the most popular sailing venues in the Uk. Our hosts The Rutland Watersports Centre always make us most welcome and the shop offers a wide range of fashionable clothing. Also available at the watersports shop are the shower and changing facilities. A cafe and public toilets are also available at the venue. The lake is surrounded by grassy banks and with ample parking this is the ideal windsurfing venue. Overnight camping will be available on Friday & Saturday at a small extra charge. (Both days will count to the Midlands Series. For your results to be included in the Midlands Series Event, you will have needed to have qualified for the Overall Midland series in 2007 by sailing 5 races or more, or have already sailed in a Midland event this year.) Anyone may enter regardless of this qualification.
