Saturday 26th July 2008 Briefing 10.30 First Race 11am Northampton Sailing Club (Pitsford) will be hosting its third UKWA Midlands Region Event on Saturday 26th July 2008. Pitsford reservoir is a large expanse of water with excellent facilities and I am sure we will have another memorable day. Pitsford is well suited to formula racing and was the home water of the UKWA'S 'Flying Frenchman'. Our thanks to the team at Pitsford for hosting this event and I am sure they will make us most welcome again. Saturday 30th August 2008 Briefing 10.30 First Race 11am Chasewater Sailing club offers competitors an large expanse of water with excellent racing in any wind direction. Over the years some of the Uk's top competitors have been members at Chase sailing club. The club famously won the National team Championships in its heyday. Chase has a well equipped clubhouse, with dining and bar facilities, a wet room and good changing / shower rooms. With plenty of parking and a good rigging area chase is an event not to be missed. Note If you are arriving in a large vehicle you will not be able to access the club from the A5 as you will not be able to cross the dam wall.
