Saturday 30th October 2010 Briefing 10.30 First Race 11am Carsington is a large man made reservoir and offers competitors excellent sailing. The lake is large enough to run several courses at the same time and provides excellent racing in all wind directions. We are always made welcome by the watersports centre which also has good changing and shower facilities. On site you will find shops and restaurants and with conference rooms this is a venue often used by the RYA as a training centre. Turn left on entering the complex and continue to the watersports centre. Turn left and left again into the car park and you will find plenty of grass for rigging in front of the water. Fleets & classes to sailed in the Midland series Raceboard; All current National fleets plus a 'B' fleet Formula Windsurf; All current National Junior; All National & team 15 fleets Scoring on the day will be extracted from in line positions. Sunday 7th November 2010 Briefing 10.30 First Race 11am Chasewater Sailing club offers competitors an large expanse of water with excellent racing in any wind direction. Over the years some of the Uk's top competitors have been members at Chase sailing club. The club famously won the National team Championships in its heyday. Chase has a well equipped clubhouse, with dining and bar facilities, a wet room and good changing / shower rooms. With plenty of parking and a good rigging area chase is an event not to be missed. Note If you are arriving in a large vehicle you will not be able to access the club from the A5 as you will not be able to cross the dam wall.
